JBOLC Garden Community Farmers Market will Open Again on June 20

We will be open every Saturday from June 20 until October 31st from 10 am to 3 pm. Please join us for healthy food & fun and a variety program including yoga, dance, drum circle, singalong, cooking demo by our community and more.

All ages are welcome.

SNAP/EBT is prouldy accepted. Did you know that when you purchase more than $10, we give $10 bonus in health bucks to buy more fresh veggies and fruits?

We are truly excited to have celebrated Black History Month!

On March 1, we gathered, sang, shared poems, danced, enjoyed delicious food and celebrated together!

Ceramic Artists from Amalgamated Ceramics Studio and School of Visual Arts gifted beautiful hand crafted pottery bowls that were purchased for a donation. Jerome’s Soup Wagon “filled” the bowls with fresh, hot and homemade vegan soup.

We raised $400 that was donated to support the Friendly Fridge Network!

Programming during the Celebration included The Free Store, Performance by Members of MORE Opera Community Chorus, Open Mic, Musical Performances, Zumba Dance, and, as always, so much more!

And here’s a look back at some of the other things we’ve done and will continue to do :)

We really do want to hear from you and help young people be activated around this issue!

Please join the curious herb walk and let’s have fun together while learning about the magic of plants growing in the neighborhood. No experience or skill is required. But curiosity and openness are welcome.
